Technical evidence

Guides use primary references from component vendors, material suppliers, design-tool documentation and standards organizations. Linked references provide context; the discussion and decision checklists are original explanatory work. A product family name is not a substitute for its current construction-specific data sheet.

References do not imply endorsement by their publishers. Where a standard is relevant, obtain the applicable licensed edition and agree the actual acceptance criteria with the engineering team and fabricator. This site does not reproduce paid standards or claim certification.

Examples and calculations

Worked examples describe stated geometry and idealized models. They do not establish a supplier capability or a guaranteed performance result. The impedance tool is an exploratory microstrip model; the BGA tool is a straight-channel geometry check. Neither replaces field solving, layout rule checks or fabrication review.

Publishing and corrections

The site is an editorial design resource, not a signed engineering approval. Validate project-specific recommendations against your device documentation and manufacturing agreement. Revision changes to material, copper, via architecture or test scope should trigger review of any dependent decisions.

No customer case study, facility certification or manufacturing yield is asserted without evidence. Dates indicate when the website content was released or changed, not when a named expert certified a design.
