How to use this tool
Enter the dielectric span of one microvia and the agreed finished-hole diameter, both in micrometres. Do not enter the total board thickness for a one-layer microvia. A stacked chain contains multiple interfaces; its overall height is not the aspect ratio of each individual via.
Interpret the result
For example, a 75 µm dielectric span with a 100 µm diameter gives 0.75:1. Reducing the diameter to 75 µm gives 1.00:1. These are illustrative geometries, not a recommended process window or an assurance of reliability.
